Regional Class A CDL Driver

Job Overview Now hiring for a Regional Class A CDL Driver | Direct Hire Location: Sidney, OH Pay Rate: $27.00 - $33.00 per hour Schedule: Monday-Friday Keep the miles meaningful - consistent routes, real pay, and a team that actually has your back. Responsibilities Safely operate a CDL-A tractor-trailer hauling refrigerated food products, including lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, and salads. Drive regional routes servicing customers throughout Ohio, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia, New York, Michigan, Kentucky, Georgia, Wisconsin, Illinois, and surrounding areas as needed. Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and daily vehicle inspections to ensure equipment safety and compliance. Deliver products on time while maintaining excellent customer service. Unload freight at customer locations and assist with loading activities at shipping locations when required. Handle touch-freight deliveries involving products weighing up to 65 lbs. Operate forklifts, dollies, and other equipment to move freight safely and efficiently. Maintain accurate driver logs, delivery records, and required DOT documentation. Follow all company safety policies, DOT regulations, and transportation procedures. Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse personnel regarding delivery schedules and route updates. Ensure cargo is transported safely and arrives in excellent condition. Represent the company professionally while interacting with customers and business partners.
