This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of clients by providing personalized, in-home care that promotes independence and dignity. Responsibilities: Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, and dressing Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, vacuuming, and tidying living spaces Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure client safety Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior to supervisors Transport clients to appointments, errands, and social activities Maintain accurate care logs and documentation of daily activities Requirements: Previous caregiving, home health aide (HHA), or personal care aide (PCA) experience preferred Genuine compassion and patience when working with elderly or disabled individuals Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Strong communication and interpersonal skills CPR/First Aid certification is a plus Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends About Us: ComForCare Home Health Care - Slidell is a trusted provider of in-home care services dedicated to helping clients live their best lives possible.
