• Conduct thorough mental health assessments tailored to the unique needs of senior clients, ensuring accurate identification of specific care requirements.

• Facilitate both individual and group counseling sessions aimed at addressing emotional challenges that accompany aging and life transitions.

• Work jointly with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans that holistically address mental health for geriatric patients.

• Educate family members and staff on effective strategies to enhance the emotional well-being of elderly individuals and improve their quality of life.

• Provide grief and loss counseling, supporting both residents and their families as they navigate end-of-life issues.

• Initiate and oversee cognitive stimulation workshops and mental health interventions designed to maintain or improve cognitive health among elderly clients.

Your primary focus will be on elderly individuals, many of whom are experiencing mental health challenges related to aging, such as depression, anxiety, and grief. • Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification.

• A minimum of 4 years of recent experience in geriatric mental health counseling, preferably within a telehealth setting.

• Trained or specialized in issues related to aging, mental health, and wellness in senior populations.

• Proven experience delivering effective counseling services to elderly individuals facing an array of mental health challenges.

Experience in grief counseling and familiarity with telehealth delivery platforms are also advantageous.

The compensation package includes a competitive salary range of USD 65,000 to 95,000 per year, with additional financial incentives for performance and client outcomes.
