Job Summary
Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Nurse (RN) Night shifts are available in an inpatient rehabilitation unit. This position involves caring for patients experiencing life-changing events such as surgeries, strokes, or multi-trauma, focusing on intensive rehab strategies to improve functional gain and restore baseline function. The role requires collaborative teamwork within a dynamic care environment.

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week, starting 09/21/2026 and ending 12/21/2026
• Certifications: BLS Certification; no license restrictions specified, willingness to wait for license submission
• Education/Experience Requirements: RN license, minimum of 2 years of experience in medical-surgical or inpatient rehabilitation nursing preferred, but not required; 0 years minimum required.
• Department: MedSurg Inpatient Rehab, beds: 15 (13 single rooms and 1 double room); typical patient ratio: 5 patients per nurse
• Responsibilities include managing patient care for individuals with complex recovery needs, occasionally titrating IV drips such as antibiotics, heparin, or IVIG, and performing duties related to inpatient rehabilitation services.
• Additional clinical notes: Strong teamwork culture, frequent patient lifts and transfers, no telemetry, and a focus on comprehensive patient care.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Submission requirements: Licensure to submit or wait for licensure, charting system: EPIC.
