Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct both routine and advanced clinical laboratory analyses-covering chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond-while adhering to established protocols.
• Interpret findings for precision, address errors proactively, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Support specimen collection and prepare samples for evaluation as necessary.
• Document all processes meticulously, mentor new team members or students, and contribute to maintaining high lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, compliant workspace, and follow all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a comparable allied health degree along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be acquired within one year of employment.
• Ongoing certification maintenance is required during employment.
