CDL A Dedicated Truck Driver - St. George, UT

Our client is hiring CDL-A drivers for a dedicated discount-retail account operating out of St. George, Utah. Freight on this fleet is dry, driver unload using rollers, running Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming. Home time is weekly, which makes this a strong fit for drivers who want a predictable routine and a consistent paycheck rather than long, open-ended stretches on the road. Average earnings on this account run $1,930 per week, approximately $100,386 annualized.

Key Responsibilities

You will operate a Class A tractor-trailer safely and legally at all times, completing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, monitoring your hours of service, and keeping your logs accurate and current in accordance with federal regulations and company policy. You will transport freight on schedule across Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming, following assigned routes, planning fuel and rest stops sensibly, and communicating proactively with your fleet manager when weather, traffic, or a customer delay puts a delivery window at risk. Drivers unload trailers using rollers and climb in and out of the trailer as needed — this is a physically active role. Start time is 06:00 and drivers work up to 14 hours. Freight handling is part of this role rather than an occasional extra. You will work the freight as described above, so a reasonable level of physical fitness and a willingness to stay active through the shift are genuine requirements, not preferences. You will represent our client professionally at every customer location, maintain the condition and cleanliness of your assigned equipment, and report mechanical issues promptly so they are addressed before they become a breakdown.

Requirements

A valid Class A Commercial Driver's License is required, along with a minimum of 3 months of verifiable CDL-A driving experience. You must meet all Department of Transportation qualification requirements and hold a current DOT medical certification. An acceptable motor vehicle record and safety history are required. You must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and comply with all federal testing requirements throughout your employment. The role requires the physical capability to perform the freight handling described above, including repeated lifting, climbing in and out of the trailer, and sustained activity across a full shift. Hiring within 50 miles of St. George UT, Twin Falls ID, Las Vegas NV and Denver CO.

Compensation and Benefits

Average earnings on this account are $1,930 per week, approximately $100,386 annualized. Pay is made up of: Mileage pay; Pay per load; Safe & On-Time Mileage Bonus — up to 3% of mileage pay. Home time: Home Weekly. Home weekly for a 34-hour reset. Days off vary with freight demand but usually fall on weekdays. Drivers based in Las Vegas run two weeks out followed by three days home. Equipment: company-provided tandem-axle sleeper trucks with automatic transmissions pulling 53' dry van trailers. There are currently 4 openings on this fleet. We place drivers directly with the fleets we represent, and we stay with you through the process — application, orientation scheduling, and the first weeks on the account.
