Pneumatic Drivers – Local Type of Freight: Powdered cement Local Routes: Home daily | Average earnings of $1,300–$1,600 weekly Benefits: Daily or weekend home time based on the route, stable freight, and a professional work atmosphere Initial Compensation: 25% of Line Haul Increase after 90 days to: 28% of Line Haul Additional Compensation for All Driver Types Pay for additional stops Short haul loads Detention pay Driver unloading or assisting with unloading HazMat loads Holiday pay Trailer spotting or extra drop and hook Breakdown pay Additional Benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance 401(k) retirement savings plan Paid vacation: 1 week after 6 months of service 1 additional week after 12 months 3 weeks after 7 years 4 weeks after 15 years 8 paid holidays annually Full coverage for your initial HazMat certification All hourly work compensated at straight time Reimbursement for weight tickets at face value Equipment: Our International LT trucks are fully outfitted with a microwave, refrigerator, TV, premium driver’s seat, and an auxiliary power unit (APU) to ensure your comfort while on the road. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Drive Class A tractor-trailers to deliver freight, general goods, and specialized cargo. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections; promptly report any defects, accidents, or violations. Load, secure, and inspect cargo; adhere to special handling protocols for hazmat or temperature-sensitive items. Maintain accurate Hours of Service logs and all necessary DOT/FMCSA documentation. Verify bills of lading, collect signatures/receipts, and ensure all paperwork is accurate and complete. Plan routes and schedules to adhere to pickup and delivery timelines. Perform basic vehicle maintenance (fluids, minor repairs); keep the trailer clean and ready for use. QUALIFICATIONS Valid Class A CDL — mandatory. HazMat endorsement preferred but not required. High School Diploma or GED. TWIC card preferred but not required. Must successfully pass and maintain all DOT/FMCSA physical standards. IDEAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES Dependable, responsible, and safety-focused — you take your role seriously. Excellent time management skills — you plan ahead and meet deadlines.
