About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year, first timers accepted License: GA or Compact license required Certifications: BLS and ACLS Must-Have: ERCP experience required Description: The actual shift consists of two 10-hour shifts and two 8-hour shifts, equaling a 36-hour week. The patient population includes adults to geriatrics. Experience with ERCP, ERCP with Spy Glass, Bronchoscopy, EBUS Procedures, Colonoscopy, and Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) is required. The ratio is 1:2 with three rooms and eleven beds, with an average daily census of 20 patients. Unit systems include Pyxis and Epic. Scrub color is navy blue. The maximum requested time off is 7 days per contract. Call requirements include one weekday call per week and one weekend call per six-week schedule. If one major holiday falls within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both holidays. If three major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major holidays include New Year's Eve and Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, and Christmas Eve and Day. Full compliance is required to start on time. Clinical screening will determine clinical fit. Local candidates are accepted at the same bill rate. Compliance checks are necessary, and all onboarding documents must be completed in a timely manner.
