About the Position

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (07:00 - 17:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, RCIS, RCES or ARRT CV Must-Have: 1st timers not accepted. Experience required with GE Discovery, IABP, Impella, CSIRatio. EKG settings and experience required. Obtaining vitals and rhythm interpretation experience required. Pacemaker experience preferred. Description: Patient population includes adults and geriatrics. Patient diagnoses include diagnostic cath, PCI, orbital atherectomy, IABP, Impella, and device implants. No electrophysiology studies or ablations are performed in this unit. Average daily census is 8-10 patients. Unit systems include Epic (required), Pyxis, SBAR, and Merge (preferred). Provided scrubs by the facility. Floating within the department and facility is required. Call requirements include 10 call days per month. If one major holiday falls within the assignment period, the candidate is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall within, the candidate is expected to work both. If three major holidays fall within, the candidate is expected to work two of the holidays. Compliance is required to start on time. Candidates will be reviewed by clinical staff to determine fit. Only locals accepted at the same bill rate. Travel experience required.
