Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient interviews and physical examinations to assess skin conditions, providing detailed histories and identifying both normal as well as abnormal findings.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory and diagnostic tests to diagnose skin diseases and conditions accurately.
• Formulate and implement effective treatment plans, which may include prescribing pharmaceuticals and recommending non-pharmaceutical interventions tailored to individual patient needs.
• Monitor and assess the effectiveness of the treatment plan, making necessary adjustments in collaboration with supervising physicians.
• Provide patient education regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive care, ensuring that patients and their families are well-informed partners in their healthcare.
• Perform dermatological procedures as trained and authorized, maintaining a high standard of care and patient safety.
• Document patient interactions and care plans accurately and timely within our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, completing required paperwork to ensure regulatory compliance and optimal patient management.
• Engage in collaborative care with physicians and allied healthcare professionals to enhance the delivery of quality patient care and support interdisciplinary objectives.
• Assist in achieving payer performance metrics that contribute to the operational success of the center.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A diploma from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• State certification as a Physician Assistant and a current CPR certification are mandatory.

• A minimum of one year of hands-on clinical experience in a Dermatology setting or similar healthcare environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with standard office equipment, including electronic medical records systems and basic computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits
