Truck Driver

We are searching for a Truck Driver to work in our Pet Segment, providing logistics, production, and maintenance support at our Sun Pet site based out of Atlanta, GA. This position primarily involves loading freight on trucks for deliveries. Primary job duties are driving, delivering, and unloading freight to various locations and businesses. Other duties involving errands, picking up supplies, supporting maintenance and production crews are also typical. Shift Details: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 11:30 pm- 1:30 pm (Hours and days may vary)

Key Responsibilities

• Loading unloading trucks in warehouse.
• Various general labor duties within the warehouse.
• Loading individual customer orders on trucks in an organized and efficient manner.
• Effectively interpret and understand the paperwork provided to assist in organizing the shipments.
• Unload or deliver the orders intact, confirming box counts, etc. to air cargo or customer location.
• Maintain a pleasant working relationship with our contacts.
• Maintain trucks in a clean, operational manner.

Qualifications

• Ability and willingness to work with others.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Comfortable driving trucks as large as a 26' box truck in urban conditions.
• Maintain punctual and regular attendance for scheduled work hours.
• Obtain a valid driver's license.
• CDL and or DOT certified preferred, but not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately.
• Responsible, reliable, and dependable work habits.
• Ability to problem solve and detail oriented.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
