As an Emergency Room Nurse, your ability to impact patient care is highly regarded and encouraged at every opportunity. The Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering exceptional, patient-focused care that aligns with the specific needs of the department and adheres to the standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. Working alongside medical professionals and other members of the healthcare team, the RN provides tailored, comprehensive, and compassionate care by utilizing established nursing frameworks such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” The RN acts as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization’s vision, mission, and values to ensure an outstanding patient experience and clinical outcomes that enhance overall departmental performance.

• Regularly assesses patient pain to facilitate effective pain management, including follow-up evaluations after interventions.
• Executes procedures, monitoring, or other tasks as directed by medical providers, ensuring timely and thorough documentation in the patient’s medical record.
• Delivers exceptional care by promptly responding to patient requests and proactively anticipating and addressing their needs.
• Educates patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, potential side effects, and follow-up actions, simplifying complex medical terminology for better understanding.
• Instructs patients, families, and caregivers on non-pharmacological follow-up measures, including healthy lifestyle choices, disease prevention, and self-management strategies.

• Minimum of 2 Years of ER RN Experience Required!
  
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 90 days of starting employment.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training must be completed within 90 days of starting employment.
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification must be obtained within 90 days of starting employment.
  • Must hold a Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing is required.
