Essential Duties and Responsibilities This position is a Survey Party Chief which requires 4–8 years of experience supervising a survey field crew performing control surveys, boundary and topographic surveys, construction stakeout, monitoring and as‑built surveys. Mentor, train, and manage assigned staff in the field. Operate robotic total stations, electronic data collectors, digital and optical levels, and RTK GPS equipment. Perform survey calculations in the field with excellent math skills. Interpret design plans and understand as‑built drawings and roadway plans. Create legible field sketches and detailed field notes. Hold a valid, current driver’s license. Follow instructions, maintain a positive can‑do attitude. Possess leadership and mentoring skills. Lift 50 pounds, walk for extended periods, work in all weather conditions, and be willing to work evenings, weekends, and travel for overnight and extended‑stay projects as required. Perform other duties as assigned. Education and/or Skills Required Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience. High school diploma or GED. Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations Required Valid driver's license. Ability to maintain required certifications. Pre‑employment drug screening is a condition of employment.
