About the Position

AlliedTravelCareers is working with Cross Country Allied to find a qualified CT Tech in Long Beach, California, 90806!

Job Summary:
The location is in Long Beach, California. The position is for a CT Technologist specializing in computed tomography imaging in a fast-paced, high-volume CT department. The role involves performing a variety of imaging procedures, including contrast studies and advanced imaging techniques, within a high-acuity hospital setting. Candidates are required to bring their licensed credentials on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 5x8H Nights, 22:30 07:00, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: ARRT (R) certification, BLS certification, Venipuncture license, California license in hand, 2 years of experience (preferred), ability to perform adult and pediatric adult acute care, outpatient, emergency department, and trauma imaging procedures, experience with Toshiba CT scanners, EPIC documentation system
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and advanced contrast studies such as enterography and intravenous pyelogram
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The department has 2 CT scanners (Canon 64 and 320 slice), a Tech Assistant, and a minimum of 2 designated CT Techs per shift. The daily census is approximately 300 patients with 135 visits, and there are interdisciplinary support services available within the hospital. The candidate must adhere to vaccination policies, including flu vaccination, with medical or religious exemptions only.
