Quality Control Technician

From aerospace to mining and power generation, you'll help ensure large, complex components meet extremely tight tolerances-where precision isn't optional, it's critical. We're looking for someone who takes pride in accuracy, has a sharp eye for detail, and thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced shop environment. What You'll Do Inspect and audit outgoing parts to prevent out-of-tolerance (OOT) issues; initiate NCRs as needed Review certifications and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance Support NCR processes, corrective actions, and internal/external audits Perform and assist with incoming and in-process inspections, including inspection plans and reporting Collaborate with Quality and Project Managers on requirements, timelines, and deliverables Coordinate advanced inspections using laser trackers, Faro Arm, and other precision tools Follow Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and contribute to continuous improvement efforts What You Bring Strong understanding of blueprints and GD&T Experience with 3D measurement tools (CMM, Faro Arm, laser tracker) preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Mechanical aptitude and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Physical Requirements Ability to walk, climb, bend, and lift in an active shop environment Benefits Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Health Savings Account (HSA) 401(k) with company match Paid vacation and 9 paid holidays Life Insurance, Short-Term & Long-Term Disability Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Education Assistance Program Additional Information Location: Salt Lake City, UT (shop-based with occasional field work) Relocation assistance is not available for this position This is a full-time, permanent employee role (no contract positions) Employment is contingent upon background check, drug screening, and E-Verify Compliance Notice: Due to U.S. Export Control laws and regulations, selected candidates must provide proof of U.S. Person status prior to employment.
