The Textile Weaving Machine Operator plays a vital role in the production of high-quality woven fabrics by efficiently operating and maintaining weaving machinery. This position requires expertise in handling natural, synthetic, blended, and mixed fiber materials. Operators typically work on either 8-hour or 12-hour shifts and may perform tasks both independently and as part of a supervised team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up weaving machines according to production specifications
• Operate looms to produce textiles from various fiber types
• Inspect fabric quality to ensure compliance with standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and operational issues
• Monitor production processes to maintain efficiency and quality

 

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in textile weaving
• Proficiency in textile machine operation
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Knowledge of quality control procedures
• Exceptional attention to detail
