This Mass General Brigham practice in Andover offers a broad range of medical sub-specialties (Cardiology, Pulmonary, Endocrinology, GI, Internal Medicine, and Pediatrics). We provide residents of Merrimack Valley with the latest in diagnostics, technology, and research. Andover Medical Center offers an integrated system of care that combines expert, medical attention. We are seeking a full-time 40-hour Medical Assistant to support our Internal Medicine suite located at 323 Lowell Street in Andover, MA. The desired schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm. The role supports healthcare teams by assisting with both clinical and non-clinical patient services under the direction of healthcare providers. Key responsibilities include taking vital signs, documenting patient information, scheduling appointments, and managing patient flow. This role involves direct interaction with patients to ensure their comfort and address concerns, as well as collaboration with physicians, nurse practitioners, and nursing staff to facilitate efficient care. Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required or Associate's Degree Medical Assisting preferred. Licenses and Credentials: Basic Life Support [BLS Certification]. Certified Medical Assistant [National Certification] preferred. Experience: Direct MA experience or medical field work 1-2 years required.
