TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Two Rivers, Wisconsin, 54241!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years License: Registered Nurse Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC, PALS, De-escalation training (MOAB or CPI) Must-Have: General Emergency Department skillset, chest tube management, drip administration, IV starts, phlebotomy, EKGs, cardiac rhythm interpretation Description: 12-bed emergency department often utilizing hallway beds. Staffing for night shift includes 5 RNs and 1 paramedic until 2300, dropping to 4 RNs and 1 paramedic at 0100. From 0100-0700, the shift is staffed with 3 RNs and a paramedic. Patient types range from neonates to geriatrics with various illnesses, predominantly adults. Patient ratios are 1:5, occasionally up to 1:6 based on acuity. A CNA is present with a ratio of 1:12. There is no designated charge RN in the emergency department. RNs perform phlebotomy at the bedside with support from an in-house respiratory therapist and hospitalist available 24/7. Charting is done using Epic, with GE monitors, Alaris, and Pyxis equipment. Weekend rotation is required every other week. Approval for time off is possible, subject to departmental staffing needs. Holiday expectations vary based on unit requirements. Scrub color is any.
