Are you a people-focused professional with a passion for helping others find the perfect place to call home? We’re seeking a skilled and motivated Residential Leasing Consultant for a vibrant community in the Bladensburg, MD area.
In this dynamic role, you’ll be the first point of contact for prospective residents—creating exceptional first impressions, delivering outstanding customer service, and guiding individuals through a seamless leasing experience. If you enjoy building relationships, working in a fast-paced environment, and making a real impact, this is the opportunity for you!
Weekend Availability is a plus!
What You’ll Do:
- Welcome and engage prospective residents, delivering a personalized leasing experience
- Conduct community tours and effectively showcase apartment homes and amenities
- Guide applicants through the leasing process from inquiry to move-in
- Maintain strong follow-up with prospects to convert leads into leases
- Ensure full compliance with Fair Housing regulations and company policies
- Build and maintain positive relationships with current and future residents
- Support overall community success through professionalism, energy, and teamwork
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in leasing, property management, or real estate administrative roles
- Proficiency in Yardi, OneSite , or similar property management software ( experience is a plus )
- Strong customer service skills with excellent communication and phone etiquette
- Confident in negotiating lease terms while maintaining compliance and professionalism
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail in contracts and record keeping
- Ability to multitask and stay efficient in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and documentation
- Knowledge of property maintenance or facilities management is a plus
- A positive, outgoing attitude with a natural ability to connect with people
