Primary Job Function: Install and trouble shoot all electrical equipment, machinery, & devices etc. Maintain electrical and mechanical on all equipment in the facility.
Job Duties:
- Perform daily inspection of equipment online or off, water system, air system, blending tower and all warehouse equipment.
- Perform P.M. checks on lines as specified on checklist.
- Complete work orders as needed.
- Help with daily repair of equipment and machinery etc.
- Use a torch and welder when necessary.
- Assist in other duties as helper to employees as required.
- Perform any duty assigned by the maintenance supervisor deemed necessary to meet demands of production or shipping.
- Perform assigned duties with quality in mind, being alert to any nonconformity and taking action to identify, record, initiate, recommend, or provide solutions.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of high voltage, AC & DC drives & motors.
- Knowledge of pneumatic & hydraulic operation.
- Knowledge of PLC.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to perform job duties with or without supervision in a safe and orderly fashion.
- Good communication skills.
- Safety: Knowledge of lockout/tagout systems.
- Use all practical safety precautions when working with electricity, motors, & machinery.
