Intern, Consulting - Real-World Evidence and Retrospective Research

Cencora

Cencora is seeking a graduate student intern for a 10-week remote summer program in health economics and outcomes research. The intern will contribute to real-world evidence projects, working with pharmaceutical and medical device clients on retrospective and prospective studies across various disease areas.

Responsibilities

Conduct research design and planning for retrospective and prospective real-world evidence projects
Manage and analyze large datasets using SAS and other analytical tools
Develop research proposals and identify appropriate medical coding systems for studies
Create study reports and prepare conference submissions for research dissemination
Support health outcomes strategy and address logistics for research implementations

Requirements

Enrolled in or pursuing Doctor of Philosophy or equivalent in HEOR or related field
Proficiency in SAS programming; SQL knowledge preferred
Understanding of analytical concepts and HEOR research methods
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Available full-time for entire 10-week program duration
Demonstrated scientific publication record preferred
