Billing & Financial Operations Representative

Location: Lake Mary, FL Duration: 12 Months +(Possible Extension) Pay range: $35 - $40/hr W2

Scope:

• Billing and financial operations support for a government project environment
• Tracking time allocations for 100+ team members across monthly cycles
• Ensuring accurate time entry, allocation tracking, and follow-ups with consultants
• Supporting monthly billing and compliance/audit readiness activities
• Invoice support and coordination with Finance/CFO office for billing finalization
• Data consolidation from multiple systems into shared Excel-based reporting workbook
• Handling ongoing changes such as resource roll-ins, roll-offs, and allocation updates
• Supporting both data validation and data cleanup activities
• Acting as liaison between project team and finance for billing accuracy

Must Haves:

• Strong Excel skills (high intermediate to advanced level)
• VLOOKUPs
• Pivot tables
• Macros (working knowledge expected)
• Strong communication skills for continuous follow-ups with large distributed teams
• Experience handling data accuracy, reconciliation, or billing support functions
• Ability to manage multiple data sources and consolidate into structured reporting
• Attention to detail for audit-ready financial tracking
• Exposure to billing or financial systems beyond Excel
• Familiarity with Microsoft ECRM (future potential tool usage)
• Prior experience in finance operations or government billing environments
• Experience supporting invoice generation or reconciliation workflows
