Nonprofit Leadership Internship This part‑time, 12‑hour per week, 12‑week unpaid remote internship provides insight into the key skills required to lead and develop a nonprofit organization. College credit is available. Responsibilities Meet with government members in your district or constituency; represent the organization at business, political, and community events; mobilize individuals to contact legislators in support of key poverty‑reduction legislation. Learn fundraising techniques; create a personal fundraising campaign and meet targets. Assist with recruitment: update job postings, inform groups and classes of openings, introduce recruitment platforms, and listen in on interviews. Develop marketing and promotion: pitch story ideas to print, broadcast, and digital media; utilize social media and develop web‑based messaging strategies. Experience and Requirements No prior experience necessary. We’re looking for individuals passionate about fighting poverty and righting wrongs, regardless of GPA or background.
