With the support of more than 30,000 team members, we promote a forward-thinking philosophy that's built on a foundation of trust, dignity, respect, responsibility and clinical excellence.BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking a Intake Specialist to join our outstanding and compassionate team at BayCare Behavioral Health Center!Intake Specialist Position Details:Facility: BayCare Behavioral Health CenterLocation: Tampa, FLStatus: Full time, HourlyShift Hours: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PMWeekend Work: Every OtherOn Call: NoIntake Specialist Responsibilities:Provide emergency psychiatric evaluations for all persons of all ages in the Hospital's Emergency Center.Handle all requests for all psychiatric services from other agencies, individuals or other departments.Maintain statistics related to Intake Services.Provide clinical reviews for managed care organizations when not involved with E.C. responsibilities.Provide basic psychiatric care to adult and geriatric patients on Inpatient psychiatric units.Required Certification/Licensures:BLS (Basic Life Support)Required Education:High School or EquivalentPreferred - Bachelors - Related Field; Preferred - Bachelors - PsychologyRequired Experience:1 year – Psychology or Bachelor's degree in related field in lieu of experienceBenefits:Benefits (Health, Dental, Vision)Paid time offTuition reimbursement401k match and additional yearly contributionYearly performance appraisals and team award bonusCommunity discounts and moreAND the chance to be part of an amazing team and a great place to workCome join our wonderful team!This position requires Level II screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse, managed by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA).
