Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Must have both CT and radiology training

• Work with 128-slice GE Revolution CT scanner, GE digital portables, and GE digital fluoro and X-ray equipment

• Volume averages 71 patients per day between X-ray/CT

• Required certification: RT(R) with CT certification preferred

• Perform routine CT and imaging procedures

• Handle Code Stroke CT imaging with perfusion

• IV start skills preferred

• Float between X-ray and CT departments

• Work in critical access facility with 59 beds

• Day shift: 5 techs during weekdays with overlapping shifts, 2 techs for CT/X-ray on weekends

• Night shift: 2 techs until 10 PM-midnight, then 1 tech from midnight to 7 AM

• Weekend coverage required (Saturday/Sunday)

• Use Cerner EMR and Philips Intellispace PACS

• Dress code: Navy or black scrubs

• Must be flexible and work well as part of a team

• Follow exam protocols set by radiologists and facility protocols for patient identification
