Job Summary
X-ray Technologist Location: unspecified. This position involves performing and providing appropriate imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines. The role includes maintaining imaging equipment, assessing patient safety and comfort, monitoring procedure effectiveness, and coordinating daily imaging tasks within a healthcare facility.

Job Details

• Position Description: Perform and provide appropriate imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines. Maintain all equipment for procedures, assess safety, procedure, physical, and physiological comfort of patients. Monitor the need for procedure revisions, coordinate daily imaging procedures, and perform other assigned duties.
• Schedule: Days shift, 7.5 hours per day, with a weekly minimum of 37.5 hours. Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, including every other weekend and one on-call shift every three weeks.
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited radiography school, NJ State Radiologic Technologist (RT) license, ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, 1-3 years of experience as an X-ray technician, demonstration of knowledge of various imaging equipment including setup, troubleshooting, and proper care, current knowledge of clinical practice trends and healthcare informatics.
• Additional Information: Must be available to start ASAP. The role requires initiative, problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and experience with imaging equipment and procedures.
• Certifications: Current BLS certification, ARRT certification, NJ State RT license.
