Document Scanning Specialist 2nd Shift
Location: Atlanta, GA Industry: Document Management Pay: $18.50 per hour Schedule: MondayFriday, 3:30 p.m.12:00 a.m. (no weekends) 4-Week Assignment, with the possibility of an extension through January. Must be available to start as soon as possible.
About the Role
Our client is hiring a Document Scanning Specialist to support its Atlanta production facility. In this role, you'll review scanned documents for accuracy and completeness, request rescans when needed, and make sure files are properly indexed while following confidentiality and data-security requirements.
Responsibilities
- Review scanned documents for legibility, accuracy, and completeness.
- Flag poor-quality images or missing content and arrange for rescanning.
- Confirm documents are correctly indexed and named.
- Identify and report recurring scanning errors to support process improvements.
- Work with scanning operators and team leads to resolve quality issues.
- Protect confidential information and follow applicable HIPAA and data-security procedures.
- Meet productivity goals while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Production-environment experience preferred; document scanning or quality-control experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Basic computer and file-management skills.
- Ability to concentrate and perform repetitive tasks.
- Dependable, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift and lift or carry 1525 pounds throughout the warehouse.
