East Rutherford, NJ · Reports to the President Royce Global seeks an experienced Controller to lead our accounting team across multiple subsidiaries in a fast-paced, family-owned chemical company. What you'll do Perform daily accounting functions in our ERP system across multiple companies, driving toward an accurate and timely monthly close Record month-end journal entries and prepare financial reports Analyze and monitor all balance sheet and P&L accounts Calculate monthly sales commissions and manage cash reporting Prepare monthly reporting packages for bank review Handle quarterly Sales & Use, VAT, and Excise tax filings Evaluate contracts and support financial analysis and business operations Oversee AP, collections, and payroll (with related accounting entries) Manage HR functions: benefits, PTO tracking, Section 125, COBRA, and the annual review of employee benefits and corporate insurance What we are looking for in a candidate Bachelor's in Accounting 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including a Controller role Strong Excel skills and excellent written and verbal communication Ability to juggle priorities in a small-company environment NetSuite and import/export experience a plus About Royce Founded in 1929, Royce is a family‑owned and operated chemical company now in its fifth generation.
