The Construction Crew Leader directly supervises Crew Members, while also working in a hands-on capacity with the crew in completing outstanding projects for clients. Tasks may include general labor, completing administrative tasks, budgeting hours, ensuring safety awareness, and regular interaction with customers.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Lead and supervise a crew of 2 team members
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards
• Work within established project budgets
• Train and mentor team members
• Coordinate tasks according to project priorities and plans
• Ensure proper and safe use of machinery and equipment
• Read and follow blueprints and installation plans
• Complete required documentation related to time and work performed
• Monitor and be accountable for the quality of work performed by the crew
• Maintain organization and compliance with all policies, procedures, and work practices
• Perform additional tasks or assignments as needed

Qualifications:

• Experience Required:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Foreman in landscape or construction-related fields
  • Proven ability to motivate others and demonstrate strong leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience reading and interpreting blueprints for installation
  • Familiarity with coordinating tasks and managing projects to meet efficiency expectations
  • Ability to interact professionally with customers, team members, and external partners
• Education & Certifications
  • Possess and maintain a valid Driver's License issued by a U.S. State or Territory with a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
• Work Environment:
  • Comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Reliable transportation to the Hendersonville location (transportation to job sites is provided).
• Physical requirements:
  • ​​​​​​​ Ability to endure long periods of standing or walking and extended periods of bending, stooping, and lifting.
  • Ability to lift 15–50 lbs. frequently and up to 90 lbs. occasionally.
