Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant

Job Description

Join our team as an Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant, dedicated to delivering superior quality care while embracing the Select Medical Way and Core Values. Responsibilities

• Implement treatment goals and programs established by the Physical Therapist.
• Assist in therapeutic interventions such as posture training, strengthening exercises, and pain relief techniques.
• Train patients in locomotion using assistive devices; demonstrate proper usage and safety awareness.
• Administer and demonstrate the application of various modalities, ensuring patient responses are monitored.
• Document patient progress, response to treatment, and educate families on good body mechanics.
• Establish professional relationships with patients and staff, consulting as necessary regarding therapy and treatment goals.
• Maintain a clean treatment area and equipment, adhering to safety and infection control guidelines.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an Accredited School.
• CAPTE Certified.
• 1+ Year of Outpatient Clinical Experience.
• Current CPR Certification.

Schedule

This position follows a 5x8.0 schedule, starting on 8/17.
