Capstone Mind Wellness & Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our remote team based in Arlington, Texas. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the severity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms, establishing a comprehensive understanding of their unique challenges.
  • Collaborate with clients to create tailored treatment plans that align with their personal goals, preferences, and needs, fostering a supportive therapeutic relationship.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), ensuring the highest standard of care.
  • Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to empower them in their recovery journeys.
  • Monitor client progress through regular assessments and adapt treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to facilitate integrated care for clients.
  • Stay informed about current research and advancements in mood disorders, incorporating new knowledge into treatment methodologies to enhance effectiveness.
  • Maintain confidentiality and accurate documentation that complies with ethical guidelines and legal standards.
  • Participate in case consultations and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and contribute to team-oriented discussions.
  • Advocate for the needs of clients, working to reduce stigma surrounding mental health while promoting understanding and acceptance in the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus

We serve a diverse clientele, including individuals experiencing mood disorders, refugees, homeless populations, and victims of domestic abuse. We are focused on delivering compassionate care that acknowledges the unique experiences and challenges faced by each client, particularly those from marginalized communities. Your role will be instrumental in supporting these individuals as they work through their struggles and strive toward improved mental health.

Qualifications

  • A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is essential.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in building secure, trustful therapeutic relationships with clients through strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathetic and nonjudgmental attitude necessary for understanding clients' experiences and struggles.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills are crucial for managing caseloads efficiently and completing administrative tasks.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working with diverse populations, particularly those struggling with mood disorders.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based treatments, including but not limited to CBT and DBT.
  • Prior involvement in community mental health initiatives or advocacy is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

  • A competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
