Distribution Office Clerk (Temp-to-Hire)Location: Bridgeton, NJSchedule: Monday–Friday, 1st Shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)Pay Rate: $19/hourPosition Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Distribution Office Clerk to support daily warehouse and shipping operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate order processing, shipment coordination, and excellent customer service.Key Responsibilities:Provide clerical support to warehouse and distribution operationsProcess outbound LTL and international sales ordersQuote volume shipments with carriers and determine optimal routingMaintain daily facility order tracking reportsOrganize and maintain shipping documentation and recordsUpdate customer shipping details in TMS systems and portalsServe as a liaison between warehouse and customer service teamsAssist in resolving shipping issues with transportation providersProcess Will Call orders and coordinate pickup logisticsOrganize truckload orders, release/queue picking tickets, and prepare paperworkCreate UPS shipping labels using WorldShipGenerate packing lists and ensure order accuracyIdentify shipment discrepancies and help resolve issuesAssist in maintaining a clean, safe work environmentSupport additional warehouse tasks as neededQualifications:Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbsExperience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Familiarity with TMS systems (preferred)Experience with scan guns (preferred)Knowledge of Bills of Lading (BOL)Experience with UPS WorldShip strongly preferredStrong basic math and problem-solving skillsPrevious warehouse or distribution experience preferredStrong verbal and written communication skillsTeam-oriented with a proactive, "roll-up-your-sleeves" attitudeAbility to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environmentWhat We're Looking For:Reliable, hardworking professionalsIndividuals who take initiative and ownership
