\n

A Shingletown, California based client is seeking an excellent Family Practice Physician to provide care to patients of all ages in a community health center. An ideal candidate is a versatile and collaborative Physician who values providing equitable care to all populations. This role involves providing continuing, comprehensive wellness, preventative, and medical care to families. 

\n

Required Qualifications 

\n

\n
• Graduated from an accredited medical school with a MD or DO degree
\n
• Current CA state medical license
\n
• Completed an accredited residency program
\n
• Current DEA certificate
\n
• Board certified in Family Medicine
\n
• Current CPR certification
\n

\n

Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury; Maintaining the patient record in a timely fashion
\n
• Provide narrative summaries in EMR to communicate patient information to other health care providers
\n
• Order, perform, and interpret tests and analyze records, reports, and examination information to diagnose patients' condition
\n
• Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical history, reports, and examination results
\n
• Monitor patients' conditions and progress and reevaluate treatments as necessary
\n
• Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients
\n
• Advise patients concerning diet, activity, and disease prevention
\n
• Refer patients to medical specialists or other practitioners when necessary
