ComForCare Home Care San Diego is hiring compassionate caregivers to support individuals with developmental disabilities, including children and adults. We are an authorized vendor of the San Diego Regional Center, and we work with families who need real, reliable support. Whether you have experience working with kids with autism, ADHD, or Down syndrome, or you have helped an adult with daily living tasks, we want to hear from you.

For children and adults with developmental disabilities, personal assistance covers a wide range of daily support. Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:

• Helping with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene
• Meal preparation and feeding assistance
• Light housekeeping, laundry, and errands
• Mobility support and safe transfers
• Medication reminders
• Transportation to appointments, school, or community activities
• Companionship and support during recreational and social activities
• Implementing communication strategies as directed by parents or therapists
• Protective supervision for clients who need a watchful eye throughout the day

Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, whether professional or personal. Babysitting and family caregiving count. Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help. Reliable transportation and a valid California driver's license. Ability to pass a background check. Registered Home Care Aide (HCA) with the State of California, or willingness to register. CPR and First Aid certification is a plus but not required.

La Jolla, Downtown San Diego, Coronado, Point Loma, Old Town, Normal Heights, Sorrento Valley, Mission Valley, Kearny Mesa, Mira Mesa, Miramar. Compensation: $18.00 per hour.
