Shipping & Receiving Supervisor

A growing manufacturing company is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Supervisor to lead warehouse, shipping, receiving, and inventory operations. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving efficiency, maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring on-time shipments, and developing a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise shipping and receiving personnel
• Oversee inbound and outbound shipments, documentation, and inventory transactions
• Ensure order accuracy, inventory integrity, and timely deliveries
• Manage warehouse safety, OSHA compliance, and employee training
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies
• Track and report KPIs including productivity, shipping accuracy, and on-time performance
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and carriers to resolve logistics issues

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• 5+ years of supervisory experience in shipping, logistics, warehouse, or distribution operations preferred
• Experience with inventory management and ERP systems
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of shipping regulations and documentation
• Forklift certification is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

• $65,000 - $85,000 base salary
