Personal Banker

Position Overview The Personal Banker will be based in Berkeley, MI and will be responsible for acquiring and deepening the branch customer base through proactive sales, service activities, and effective lobby engagement to drive customer loyalty. Job Description Acquires and deepens the branch customer base through proactive sales and service activities. Manages the customer experience by identifying opportunities to improve the customer’s financial wellbeing. Drives proactive sales conversations through internal and outbound interactions, including outbound calling, service to sales, teller interactions, appointment setting, and effective lobby engagement. Creates customer loyalty and grows customer share of wallet through differentiated customer experience and lobby engagement activities. Applies product and procedural knowledge to identify, mitigate, and solve customer problems effectively. Manages risk through adherence to all policies and procedures, demonstrates sound judgment, and participates in branch daily operations. Expectations Customer Focused – knowledgeable of values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations. Managing Risk – assesses and effectively manages all risks associated with business objectives. Work Experience – Typically 3+ years of relevant experience, Associate’s degree or equivalent. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, certification, and experience may be considered. No required certification; candidates are subject to background checks.
