Job Description - Full & Part Time Opportunities At JRI’s Kansas Wesleyan University operations, we’ve created a great place to eat and to work. You’ll be part of a team delivering freshly prepared, made-to-order menu items for our guests coupled with a unique mix of fun, great food, and exceptional hospitality. As a Line Cook, your primary responsibility will be to execute the menu items presented in the Dining Area, ensuring high-quality and timely preparation of à la carte items under the direction of the Chef or other supervisors. This entails cooking and serving a variety of dishes using equipment such as the grill, griddle, fryer, pizza oven, omelet bar, or carving station, among others. Additionally, you will be tasked with performing necessary prep and cooking duties in the Main Kitchen to support overall kitchen operations. Maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the Dining Area Kitchen is essential, and you will be expected to assist in similar efforts in the Main Kitchen as needed. There may also be occasions where you’ll be asked to work in other areas of food service on campus, contributing to the overall dining experience for students, faculty, and guests.
