Location: New York, NY

Duration: 14 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift | 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM
Schedule: Not Specified
Local Candidates Required: Yes
Traveler Candidates Required: Yes

Pay Rate $40 - $45/hour (Based on Experience)
Note: This job doesn't offer any benefits.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Clinical Lab Technician to perform clinical laboratory testing and related procedures while following established protocols, quality standards, and applicable laboratory requirements.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of General Clinical Technician experience
Valid Clinical Laboratory Technician certification issued by the New York State Education Department (NYSED)
Primary Source Verification (PSV) of NYSED certification
Proficiency in English – speaking, reading, and writing

Preferred Qualifications

BLS certification

Responsibilities

Perform clinical laboratory procedures according to established protocols
Process and handle laboratory specimens accurately and safely
Follow laboratory quality-control, safety, and infection-control procedures
Ensure accurate identification, labeling, and handling of specimens
Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and records
Operate laboratory equipment within the scope of certification and training
Communicate laboratory-related information with clinical and laboratory staff
Follow applicable hospital, laboratory, and regulatory requirements
