Phlebotomy Site Coordinator

Overview Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomy Site Coordinator for the Temple Terrace, FL location. The role involves overseeing patient service center activities within an assigned area and performing phlebotomy and specimen processing procedures. Work Schedule Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm with rotating Saturdays as assigned. Additional days and hours may be required. Responsibilities Observe and report performance, compliance or staffing issues to supervisors Manage and monitor patient flow, wait times, inventory levels, and information logs Monitor monthly productivity reports and report deviations as necessary Address customer service issues promptly and respectfully Promote teamwork, cohesion, and communication among coworkers Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely Process billing information and collect payments when required Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Complete administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed Coordinate and oversee activities of Patient Service Centers within the assigned area, working closely with PSC staff, management, laboratory staff, and clients to ensure optimal operation Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent One year of experience as a phlebotomist Preferred Qualifications Three or more years of phlebotomy experience Phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited training program (counts in lieu of experience) Additional Requirements In‑depth knowledge of phlebotomy duties, responsibilities, and techniques Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently or as part of a team Comfortable working with minimal supervision Reliable transportation and clean driving record, if applicable Flexibility to work overtime as needed Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test Benefits Comprehensive benefits for employees scheduled 20+ hours per week: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, Employee Stock Purchase Plan 401(k) participation for employees scheduled less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees All benefits except PTO/FTO for employees on a 7 on/7 off schedule Equal Employment Opportunity Labcorp is a proud Equal Opportunity Employer.
