• Conduct an array of routine and advanced laboratory tests-including but not limited to chemistry, hematology, and immunology-following established protocols with care.
• Assess test results for precision, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and engage in preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist in the collection of specimens and prepare samples for analysis as required.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, share your knowledge by training new staff and students, and uphold the laboratory's quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe laboratory environment while adhering to regulatory and accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree, supplemented with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Holding an ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) is required within the first year of employment.
• Maintain certification throughout your tenure with us.
