There are 10 OR Nurses and 2 PRN OR Nurses.\n Type of staff:\n Day Shift – 1 Charge, 7-8 techs, 8 RNs, 3 CNA s ( we currently staff until 5pm and after 5pm with on-call staff in either 14 hr. or 16hr. shifts)\n Night Shift – on-call staff only after 7pm\n Patient Ratios – 1:1 (1 ST:1 RN in general cases, but 2 ST: 2RN in CV cases)\n Type of equipment -\n EMR - MediTech\n Typical hiring profile\n Skill Set Most recruited for:\n Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.\n CV surgical tech (ability to scrub CV surgery procedures)\n The ability to scrub General procedures and other cases\n Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.\n CV scrub skills\n Ortho scrub skills\n Robotic surgery scrub skills\n List typical procedures performed on unit(s):\n CABG s, Mitral Valve replacements, Fem Bypass, Thrombectomy\n Ortho, Neuro/Spine, General (Robotics), GYN (Robotics), Urology, ENT, and Podiatry\n Best personality Fit:\n Someone with a great attitude and willing to work with the team.\n REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:\n BLS\n Floating Area(s):\n Possibly the ASC that is across the street from the hospital (extremely rare)\n Dress Code:\n Scrub Color/Attire - blue and provided by the facility due to the daily change requirements\n Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.\n Weekends and On call(if any)\n May help to provide On-call coverage 1-2 nights per week and 1 weekend a month.
