Senior Data Engineer (Denver, CO)

Requirements 8+ years experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Amazon QuickSight). 8+ years in data engineering (ETL, data transformation, automation). Strong background in AWS services and console navigation. Python and Terraform for automation. Strong analytical skills to interpret AWS billing and usage data. AWS Spend Analysis Analyze AWS spend data to identify cost‑saving opportunities. Work with AWS Cost Intelligence Dashboards to customize and extend their functionality. Interpret AWS billing and usage reports to provide actionable insights. Business Intelligence (BI) Development & Dashboarding Develop, maintain, and enhance BI dashboards in Amazon QuickSight (and potentially Power BI, Tableau). Generate reports and data visualizations to support FinOps decision‑making. Work with AWS services to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data. Use Python and Terraform to automate data pipelines, infrastructure, and reporting processes. AWS Platform & Console Navigation Navigate AWS environments and services effectively. Leverage AWS tools for data ingestion, storage, and analysis. Work closely with FinOps teams, finance stakeholders, and cloud engineering teams. Communicate insights and recommendations to non‑technical stakeholders. Report directly to leadership and contribute to team growth and best practices.
