Responsibilities and opportunities Faculty of Transplant Hepatology will engage in a growing team of hepatologists committed to clinical excellence, academic collaboration, and innovation in liver disease management and transplantation. Faculty will be eligible for leadership opportunities commensurate with goals and experience, working in close partnership with renowned transplant surgeons, transplant anesthesiologists, intensivists, and the wider multidisciplinary team. This is a transformative moment in Tucson's transplant landscape. The University of Arizona is advancing into robotic organ transplantation, launching a living donor liver transplant program, and initiating auto-islet transplantation, placing our program at the cutting edge of modern liver care.
