Position Summary The Nurse Practitioner provides advanced clinical care by assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Responsibilities include conducting patient evaluations, developing treatment plans, prescribing medications, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care and positive clinical outcomes. The NP will support operational efficiency while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with prior Emergency Medicine experience required Active unrestricted Arkansas NP license, DEA/CDS registration, and prescriptive authority required Board Certified through AANP or ANCC Current ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications required Must provide two years of case logs and CME/CEU documentation Strong Emergency Medicine skill set required for a critical access facility, including supervising physician assignment Current immunizations and screenings required, including COVID, TB, Flu, Hep B, MMR, Varicella, and Tdap Malpractice coverage of $1M/$3M required Additional required documents include current resume, driver’s license, and professional photo.
