Desired Background and Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
- Current SLP licensure in California (or eligibility for licensure)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- Experience or strong interest in serving school-aged children
- Ability to deliver therapy both onsite and via teletherapy platforms
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assess students’ speech and language needs
- Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide both individual and group therapy sessions, in-person and through teletherapy as needed
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and compliance with district and state guidelines
- Actively participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development
