Receiving Clerk - Now Hiring

Are you highly organized with a keen eye for detail in logistics documentation? Become a receiving clerk and benefit from consistent and reliable pay and a flexible schedule. We offer short-term mandates in high-volume distribution centers, allowing you to use your administrative and material handling skills to manage crucial inbound inventory flow when it fits your life.

Your responsibilities:

- Documentation management: accurately check, reconcile, and process all inbound shipping documents, including the bill of lading (bol), packing slips, and delivery receipts.
- Inventory verification: physically verify the quantity and condition of incoming freight against purchase orders and manifests, noting and reporting discrepancies or damages immediately.
- System entry: accurately input receiving data into the warehouse management system (wms) or inventory tracking software to ensure real-time stock updates.
- Staging and labeling: apply proper labels and direct incoming materials to the correct staging or inspection areas for putaway.
- Communication: communicate effectively with carriers, purchasing, and warehouse management regarding delivery schedules and non-conforming shipments.
