Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment according to procedure requirements

- Sterilize and maintain surgical instruments and supplies to ensure a sterile environment

- Assist surgeons and surgical team members during procedures by passing instruments and supplies

- Ensure proper patient positioning and safety measures are followed before and during surgery

- Maintain accurate documentation of surgical procedures and equipment usage

- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards at all times

- Assist with inventory management and restocking of surgical supplies

Skills and Qualifications:

- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification from an accredited program

- Proven experience as a scrub tech or surgical technologist in a hospital or surgical center

- Knowledge of surgical instruments, sterilization techniques, and aseptic procedures

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or on-call hours
