Delivery Truck Driver

Role Overview The CDL-A Driver is responsible for delivering food and related products safely and efficiently across intrastate and interstate routes. They serve as the company's face to customers, ensuring timely deliveries, proper unloading, and accurate paperwork. The role involves performing safety checks, adhering to DOT regulations, inspecting trailers, securing freight, and maintaining equipment and work areas. Drivers build strong customer relationships and handle returns, damages, and cash collection when required. Responsibilities Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers Perform safety inspections and report hazards or repairs Follow DOT regulations and company policies for safe driving and freight handling Load, unload, and verify deliveries, including checking invoices and securing freight Complete necessary paperwork accurately and maintain vehicle logs Ensure trailers and equipment are secured and perform general housekeeping duties Assist with damage control, returns, and trash removal Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or GED 6+ months of commercial driving experience Valid CDL-A license At least 21 years old with a clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) Ability to pass drug tests, background checks, and road tests Current DOT health card or ability to obtain one Physical ability to lift and handle freight ranging from 10 to 90 pounds #J-18808-Ljbffr
