This role manages the bar operations, delivering prompt, courteous service in accordance with brand standards and maintaining a safe and profitable environment.**Essential Functions and Duties:*** Interact with guests, solicit feedback, and implement service recovery when necessary.* Execute revenue and check control procedures during shifts.* Assist in selecting, training, and providing ongoing performance feedback to staff, ensuring brand standards and guest satisfaction goals are met.* Utilize tools such as schedules, floor plans, and checklists to manage shift operations efficiently.* Conduct daily pre-shift meetings to communicate specials, hotel occupancy, guest satisfaction scores, and staff concerns.* Resolve daily operational issues such as call-outs, last-minute bookings, and delayed ticket times.* Monitor floor volume and assist with seating, serving, and kitchen communication as needed to ensure guest satisfaction.* Order and manage inventory of beer, wine, liquor, and bar supplies, and manage vendor accounts.* Execute activations and partnership events, ensuring proper scheduling, planning, and preparation based on Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).* Ensure proper stocking, accurate order delivery, and correct invoicing for all bar orders.* Implement marketing and upselling techniques to promote bar services and maximize revenue.* Train staff on beverage offerings, events, and pricing to control costs and maintain budgeted spending.*Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.***Required Experience, Education, and Skills:*** 2+ years of related food and beverage experience.* Strong leadership and communication skills to manage staff and guest interactions.* Experience in ordering, inventory management, and vendor relations.* Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).* Ability to handle multiple tasks and resolve operational issues efficiently.* TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures) certification required within 30 days of hire.* Previous experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in hotels.**Work Environment:*** Primarily an indoor work environment with moderate noise levels typical of a bar or restaurant setting.* Exposure to cleaning chemicals and equipment used in bar operations.* Requires frequent standing and walking during shifts.* Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. and push/pull up to 25 lbs.* Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.**Other Duties:**Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the team member for this job.
