Project and Sub Compliance Coordinator

KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting has partnered with a rapidly growing organization in Nashua, NH to identify a Project & Sub-Compliance Coordinator to join their finance team. This is a 100% on-site opportunity offering $24-$30/hour.

This is a high-impact role supporting Accounting and Sub-Compliance functions to ensure projects remain financially sound, compliant, and audit-ready. The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills, be highly organized, and feel confident holding Project Managers accountable for required documentation and compliance matters. Recent accounting graduates with strong motivation and communication skills are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities Will Include

• Partnering with Project Accountants to ensure all subcontractor compliance documentation (COIs, lien waivers, etc.) is accurate and complete
• Monitoring project compliance requirements to support timely AR/billing and subcontractor payments
• Communicating directly with Project Managers to resolve missing documentation and ensure accountability
• Maintaining organized project records to ensure audit-readiness and smooth project close-outs
• Supporting cross-functional collaboration between Accounting, Compliance, and Operations teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred (recent grads encouraged)
• Advanced Excel skills (required)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with confidence to follow up on compliance matters
• Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple active projects
• Experience in project accounting, project administration, construction administration, or subcontractor compliance is a plus
